So I was walking through a store the other day and paused to look at a handbag by a big name label. It featured a really pretty image of a mermaid on it. I briefly considered buying it, although it was overpriced IMO, and then I realized... wait a second! I'm and artist... I can make my own and make it totally original! So I found a good supplier of large canvas totes and bought a few. My first one was my cute little lollie girl... I posted it up and my friends started asking if they could get commissions and if I was going to start selling them. Ummm.... Sure?? So I opened up an Etsy store.
